Edit Address book

If you don’t know how to edit the address book on your print device, this guide will show you how. Whether you need to add, edit, or remove a user on your multifunction printer there are two simple ways to do so: 

  1. On a Web Browser using the device’s IP Address 
  2. Directly on the multifunction device 

These instructions apply only to a Lanier, Ricoh or Savin device. 

Edit the Address Book Using the IP Address on a Web Browser 

  1. Find the device’s IP address by printing a configurator sheet from your device. You can find instructions on how to do so, here.  
  2. Enter the IP Address in your web browser 
  3. Log in to the Web Image Monitor
  4. Click “Device Management” on the left side of the screen 
  5. Select “Address Book”

How to Add a Contact through the Web Browser: 

  1. Click the “Easy Input” or “Wizard Method” tab 
  2. Select “Add User” 
  3. Check the “Email Destination” checkbox 
  4. Select “Go to Next” 
  5. Enter the Name you want to add 
  6. Enter the Key Display – this is the name that will appear on the print device 
  7. In the “Title 1” dropdown, select the first letter of your Last Name – for example CD for Colvin 
  8. Select “Go to Next” 
  9. Enter the Email Address 
  10. Select the “Register as both destination and a sender” checkbox, unless you do not want to have your email as a return address 
  11. Select “Go to Next” 
  12. Click “OK” 

How to Edit a Contact through the Web Browser: 

  1. Select the “Easy Input” tab 
  2. Select the checkbox next to the contact you want to edit 
  3. Click “Change” 
  4. Navigate through the pages to make your edit 
  5. Once you reach the last page, select “OK” to set the changes 

How to Delete a Contact through the Web Browser: 

  1. Select the “Easy Input” tab  
  2. Select the checkbox next to the contact you want to delete 
  3. Click “Delete” at the top of the contact list 
  4. Select “OK” in the pop-up window 
  5. Click “OK” again 

Edit the Address Book Directly on the Device 

  1. Select “User Tools” on the device’s operation panel 
  2. Select “Address Book Management” 
  3. Now you will see the list of addresses in the device already 

How to Add a Contact Directly on the Device: 

  1. Select “New Program” 
  2. Next to Name press “change” and enter the name you want to add 
  3. Next to Key Display select “change” and enter what name you would like to appear on the button 
  4. Select the “Email” tab  
  5. Press “change” 
  6. Enter the email address 
  7. Select “OK” 
  8. Hit “OK” again 
  9. Press “Exit” 

How to Edit a Contact Directly on the Device: 

  1. Select the “Program/Change” button 
  2. Select the user you want to edit 
  3. Make any edits you need under the “Names” tab and “Email” tab
  4. Select “OK” once your edits are complete 
  5. Select “OK” again 
  6. Press “Exit” 

How to Delete a Contact Directly on the Device:  

  1. Select the “Delete” button 
  2. Select the user you want to delete 
  3. Press “Yes” 
  4. Press “Exit”
