For instance, one of the main ways we evaluate the success of our customer service is through our Net Promoter Score.
What is a Net Promoter Score?
A Net Promoter Score (NPS) is an index ranging from -100 to 100 that measures a customer’s loyalty. After each service call our team completes, we send the customer a brief survey asking, “On a scale of 1 to 10, how likely are you to recommend our company?”
How is it measured?
A third-party provider, CEO Juice, tracks the responses and analyzes the data. A Detractor answers the question with a 1-6. A Passive answers with a 7 or 8, and a Promoter answers 9 or 10.
Once the software analyzes the feedback, it calculates the NPS by subtracting the percentage of unhappy customers (detractors) from the percentage of happy customers (promoters).

If you respond with a score of 8 or below or indicate a problem in the comments, our team will immediately contact you and document any actions needed to resolve the issue.
